RII20120 Certificate II in Resources and Infrastructure Work Preparation

There are no entry requirements listed in the training package for this qualification. It is preferred that the students have obtained a minimum of a School Certificate or equivalent. Students are required to; be at least 16 years of age (students under 18 years of age will need a parent or guardian to approve their enrolment).

To successfully complete this qualification, you require nine (9) units of competency. These 9 units are comprised of four (4) core unit which is compulsory and five (5) elective units.

• RIIWHS201E Work safely and follow WHS policies and procedures

• CPCCLSF2001A Licence to erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding basic level
• RIICCM201E Carry out measurements and calculations
• RIIERR201E Conduct fire team operations
• RIIHAN201E Operate a forklift
• BSBITU111 Operate a personal digital device

On successful completion of this Nationally Recognised Qualification, you will be competent in skills required to work as:

• Open Cut Miner (Metalliferous Mining)
• Small Mine Operator
• Open Cut Coal Miner
• Civil Construction Worker
