Entry into the course
There are no entry requirements for this qualification. Individuals may undertake this qualification with little or no experience in the industry. It is preferred that the students have obtained a minimum of a year 10 level School Certificate or equivalent. Entry requirements may vary dependent on unit selection and delivery method.
Recommended course structure
A total of thirteen (13) units are required to complete this qualification; eight (8) core and five (5) elective units. Unit selection may vary dependent on delivery method and location.

Work Placement
This course requires a minimum of 36 hours of work placement (commencing after 4 weeks of class time to prepare students for their work placement).
